Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 August 2026
Most important term: Reglynn provides a structured self-assessment, not legal advice. Our reports help you understand where you likely stand under the EU AI Act and what to verify with a qualified advisor. They are not a legal opinion, a certification, or a defence in an enforcement action.
1. What you're buying
A personalised report generated from the answers you provide, based on Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) as amended, including the June 2026 Omnibus. Depending on the version you buy, your purchase may also include:
- Document Pack — three draft compliance documents generated from your answers, clearly marked as drafts requiring legal review.
- Multi-system bundles — a set number of separate assessments, one per AI system. Each system is assessed and reported individually, because each has its own risk tier. Multi-system bundles are report-only and do not include the Document Pack.
- Trust badge — a badge for your website stating self-assessment only.
- Notion obligation tracker — a template you can duplicate.
- 12-month re-issue — see §2a.
2. Accuracy and limits
- Your report reflects the answers you give. Inaccurate or incomplete answers produce an inaccurate report.
- Classifications are based on publicly available guidance and our interpretation of it. Regulators, courts and your own counsel may reach different conclusions.
- The regulation changes. Your report reflects the position on the date it was generated, which is stamped on it.
- Reports are generated by an AI system — Reglynn's own question set and risk logic, running on Anthropic's Claude — and reviewed before delivery. Reglynn is itself a Limited Risk AI system under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, and we disclose AI involvement everywhere it occurs, including in our chat assistant. Our own self-assessment is published at reglynn.eu/our-ai-act-status.
2a. 12-month re-issue
If the EU AI Act changes materially within 12 months of your purchase in a way that affects your report's conclusions, we will re-run your assessment against the updated regulation and send you a revised report, once, free of charge. "Materially" means a change to obligations, deadlines or classification criteria that alters what your report says — not editorial or procedural amendments. We decide in good faith whether a change qualifies, and we will tell you either way. This does not extend to re-running the assessment because your own product has changed; that is a new assessment.
3. Not a substitute for legal advice
Nothing in the report, the website, the chat assistant or our emails creates a lawyer–client relationship or constitutes legal advice. Before making decisions with legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified EU AI Act compliance advisor.
4. Payment, delivery and VAT
Payments are processed by Gumroad, which acts as merchant of record and handles EU VAT. Delivery is by email, typically within five minutes of completing the assessment. If your report does not arrive, contact hello@reglynn.eu and we will resend it.
5. Refunds
If the report isn't useful to you, email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full — no interrogation required. We'd rather have your honest feedback than your unhappy money.
Note on the EU right of withdrawal: this product is digital content delivered immediately upon completion of your assessment, and is sold to businesses for business purposes. Where the statutory 14-day withdrawal right applies to you as a consumer, nothing above limits it — our policy is more generous regardless.
6. Your use of the report
Your report and any generated documents are licensed to you and your organisation for your own internal compliance work. You may adapt them freely for that purpose. You may not resell, republish or distribute them as a commercial product or service to third parties.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of Reglynn is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for regulatory fines, business losses, or decisions you take on the basis of a self-assessment. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but make no uptime guarantee. Assessments can be resumed by requesting a new link if a session fails.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
10. Contact
hello@reglynn.eu — questions, refunds, deletion requests, complaints. A human answers.
